His ever changing DNA has drifted far from his chart topping days with Walking On Cars as he finds himself in a spellbinding rootsy folk world that makes him one of Ireland’s most exciting prospects for the year ahead.
His biggest musical influences are Sufjan Stveens, A Blaze Of Feather & Tom Waits and after spending most of 2023 in the recording studio, 2024 becomes a very important year for the wordsmith as his debut solo record is due for release.

As one of Ireland’s most acclaimed live artists, Paddy Casey has been at the forefront of the Irish music scene since the release of his multi platinum selling debut album ‘Amen’ back in 1999.
Paddy has headlined Irish festivals, Dublin Castle, played a week-long residency in the Olympia Theatre, performed his own headline concert in the RDS, has supported many top names worldwide including U2, Pearl Jam, Bob Dylan and played live on The Late Show with David Letterman.
Paddy’s debut album, Amen went multi-platinum and his next album; Living went at least eleven times platinum in Ireland which has made it one of the top selling Irish albums ever.
Paddy Casey has been one of Ireland’s busiest touring musicians in recent times with a total of 7 album releases to date including his latest offering which is a double album ‘Turn This Ship Around.

The band traces its roots some 19 years ago, when they played their first concert at the Squirrel Bar near the Gallowgate, Glasgow in 1989.
They band are known as the “Number 1 Celtic Band in the World” and have enjoyed a great of success in this role, having played to audiences across the world including Glasgow, New York, Dubai and other cities in North America, Australia, Europe and all across the UK and Ireland. The band’s name is derived from the nickname for Celtic Football Club, which most of their music celebrates and Celtic Legend, Billy McNeill gave the band the name. @amazingapplesofficial are a 5 piece multi instrumentalist Indie/Folk band from Galway.
They released their debut album ‘A Little Sense’ in 2015, which was produced by Joe Chester (The Coronas, Hermitage Green). The album went straight to no. 3 in the Irish Independent Charts, and 27th overall on the Official Irish Charts.
Over the years they have played alongside acts such as: Mumford and Sons, Walking on Cars, The Coronas, Gavin James, Ryan Sheridan, Damien Dempsey, The Riptide Movement, Sharon Shannon, Paddy Casey, The Waterboys and In early 2017 they went on tour with The Saw Doctors.
They have also played at Electric Picnic, Indiependence, Sea Sessions and the Westport Festival and have toured abroad in New York, Boston, Switzerland, Romania and the UK.
